BIBL 367 - The Book of Acts

This course explores Luke’s perspective in writing the book of Acts and how it relates to Luke’s Gospel. The primary focus is on the literary elements, historical context, and theological and practical implications of how the church was formed on Pentecost and how it spread throughout the world. Attention will be given to special themes but also to the overall purpose of the book. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing; BIBL 101  and BIBL 102  (or BIBL 103 ); BIBL 211 .
