EDUC 211 - Introduction to Education: Culture and Contexts Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credit Hours: 3 Terms Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
An introductory course in professional education, including an introduction to serving students in diverse settings. Includes orientation and application to the teacher education program. Includes observation in PK-12 classroom. Must be taken in residence. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing and a declared major including teacher certification. Other majors may enroll with Teacher Education department approval. Course fee. May be used to satisfy University Requirements.
