JMCO 224 - Media Writing

The understanding and practice of writing content applicable to a range of mass media formats, audiences, and purposes. The primary focus is on how to gather information and accurately transform it into appropriately styled messages for actual audiences. Prerequisite: JMCO 100 and JMCO 165. Before enrolling in JMC 224, Media Writing, a student must have an ACT English score of 24 or an SAT Reading/Writing score of 590 or score 70 or higher on the Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Exam. Same as JMC 224.
