PCM 626 - Applied Genetics and Pharmacogenomics Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credit Hours: 3 This course presents fundamental concepts, laboratory techniques, and skills employed in the rapidly growing field of applied medical genetics. With an emphasis in cancer genetics, this class explores how patient genetic data are used to diagnose diseases, assess risk, and select optimal treatment strategies based on an individual’s genetic profile. Prerequisite: PCM 601 and PCM 605 .
