Through the exploration of religious change in the world, this course engages students with major anthropological and sociological debates on religion, secularism, and global modernity. Using a variety of methodological approaches to the study of religion, it equips students to thoughtfully address a variety of religious thoughts and practices from a uniquely Christian perspective. Prerequisite: BIBL 101, BIBL 102 (or BIBL 103), and BIBL 211. Same as BMSO 371.
