Practice in reading and writing expressive and informative essays. Some persuasive writing will be included. A review of grammar and editing skills will also be included. Required of students (1) with an ACT English score of 16 -18 or equivalent SAT Verbal score or (2) who have completed ENGL 003 and ENGL 004. Corequisite: ENGL 106. Does not satisfy the General Education composition requirement and is non-graduation credit.
