MATW 123 - Elementary Statistics

Collection, presentation, analysis and interpretation of data, and probability. Analysis includes descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression. Includes an embedded workshop. Prerequisite: Meet one of the following - MATH SAT score of 400-500; MATH ACT score of 15-18; MATW 019; mathematics placement testing into MATW 123; or previously earned credit for MATW 109, MATW 120, or MATW 130. Same as MATH 123, MATO 123, and MAWO 123.
