A study of healthcare delivery systems, quality of healthcare, and the impact of socioeconomic factors and culture on the delivery of healthcare through readings, discussion and interviews. Field experience will be gained through service-learning activities and observation within a medical community. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Corequisite: Participation in required shadowing, observation, and service components. Same as PHP 308.
