The introduction to the major is a three-hour course designed to introduce English majors to selected seminal works of literature across the world, beginning with ancient texts and continuing to 1950. It will equip students with a foundational framework with which to begin their classes in the major. Prerequisite: Completion of Sophomore requirements for English majors.
