All-Level Teacher Certification - Vocal Concentration, BM (MTVA)

The Bachelor of Music degree with Teacher Certification qualifies students to teach music in early childhood through twelfth-grade settings while providing the foundation in music essential to the professional musician. Normally, this degree takes four and a half years to complete.

Pass the piano proficiency exam, sophomore proficiency exam, and present a senior recital.

Minimum grade in each required music course: C
Minimum GPA in major: 2.75
Minimum GPA for graduation: 2.75
Minimum advanced hours: 33
Minimum total hours: 128
