MMFT ONL: Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (Online)
The degree plan for the online Marriage and Family Therapy program consists of 45 or 48 credit hours in the Foundational Curriculum and 12 or 15 credit hours in the student’s choice of specialization track: general MFT, Medical Family Therapy Treatment of Trauma, Child and Adolescent Therapy, or Therapy with Military Families. Upon completion of the first 18 credit hours, students must meet the following criteria:
- earn a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in the first 18 credit hours;
- receive a minimum grade of B in MFTO 601 - Pre-Internship ; and
- receive approval from the Clinical Coordinator for a site and supervisor prior to beginning the Internship courses.
No more than 12 credit hours may be transferred into the program with the approval of the Program Director.
Prerequisite Degree Requirements
This program requires a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
