A study of the origins and diversification of land plants while emphasizing the classification, evolutionary processes, and phylogenetics of flowering plants based on morphology and molecular genetics. Prerequisite: BIOL 121 /BIOL 122 and BIOL 123 /BIOL 124 with a minimum grade of “C”. Corequisite: BIOL 414 .
