DET 305 - Game Textures Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credit Hours: 3 Terms Offered: Spring, even years; summer, odd years
Introduction to concepts of creating 2D bitmap textures for use on 3D models for games and animations. Students will learn to use image editing software to produce diffuse textures and bump/normal mas for use in various 3D environments and applications. Students will also be introduced to basic game engine fundamentals and practices for the purpose of applying the textures they have created. Prerequisite: DET 220 .
