DET 315 - Game Materials Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credit Hours: 3 Terms Offered: Summer
Intermediary course focusing on the creation and application of Physically-Based Rendering materials for use in gaming and digital cinematics. Students will explore different PBR and node-based material creation software packages. Students will learn to create procedural materials and to apply and paint those materials onto 3D models and scenes within various industry standard software packages. Prerequisite: DET 305 .
